Win BIG by voting

As great as it is to thank your community, we also like to give back to those who take their time to vote and participate in our survey. As a result, the 2021 prize includes 1 of 4 chances to win $500! The voters are chosen by a random ballot survey conducted by an unbiased third party endorsement. The winners are announced and contacted at the end of the surveying year. Contact information is gained through the surveying process, which asks the voter to leave behind their name and email address.

Why is your opinion important?

As a consumer your nomination, vote and feedback is an important part of the surveying process. It helps iTrustLocal discover new, noteworthy businesses, and helps other consumers in your city enjoy better overall products and services. By helping reduce the businesses and professionals in your city to a select group, you are contributing to a resource that benefits your city. In addition, you are also thanking those who proudly serve you and your community every day. Your feedback during the survey is a critical component, because even though you are voting for your favourite, you know better than anyone where that business or professional needs improvement. In then end, you are not just helping us identify the top, you are helping those on top get even better!

Now that's a recipe for success.

What do each of the Qualification Process points entail?

The iTrustLocal qualification process is based on points system where the business must reach a benchmark of 40/50 points. View the full iTrustLocal qualification process here.

Is there a fee to be a nominee?

There is no fee to be a nominee and you cannot buy your way into the voting process. Top Choice Awards lists and promotes all iTrust Qualified nominees as a public service. Not all nominees can be winners, but the nominees are the best in their field and a valuable asset to the public.

Being an official nominee, your company name is listed for free on our site throughout the voting period, where clients, family and friends can vote for you as their top choice. You are also given a free nominee badge found on the right hand side of your voting page in which you can post on your website and link straight to your voting page to make voting easier for your clients. View the benefits of being a nominee here.

Encourage your voters to vote through our new social voting app, www.VoteForUs.ca. The app allows voters to share their vote on Facebook and Twitter with the click of a button. A shared vote means free exposure and awareness for your business. What better online business review than that!

Can we use the logo when we win?

The Trademarked Top Choice Award Logo is available to winners who participate in the promotion system. Participation in the promotion system is optional and winners who decline participation are still listed in our online directory and can make the claim that they are a "Winner of the Top Choice Award" in their city for the year they were voted top choice.

Licensing of the Top Choice Award logo is done yearly, all logos must be accompanied by the respective year at all times as the results of winners change yearly and consumers need to have accurate and up to date information on who the Top Choice Award winner is for each respective year.

Use of the logo without a license is not permitted and will result in the removal of your company name from our competition/associations affective immidiately until further notice.

How can the survey information be unbiased when winners pay for their studies?

The studies are not funded by any of the businesses or professionals listed in the survey. Studies are solely based on customer opinions, which in turn, allows Top Choice Awards to become the voice of the people surveyed. After the results are published, nominees and winners may choose either or not to purchase the study. Full ownership to data collected during survey is critical to iTrustLocal's independence and unbiased position.
