Yes, the clothes are pretty high quality and modern. Prices are typical for buying Indian clothes in North America--exorbitantly high compared to India (which I am ok with bc I know I can't go to India anytime soon). Their store concept isn't exactly a unique concept in North America, but it is unique amongst Indian stores in that it has a website and tries to be a little bit more higher end and modern than most other stores in the GTA. So, I understand the appeal and awards in that regard. What really annoys me is the customer service and attitude of the people who work there. Yes, I know that Indian stores are not known for their customer service, and that is something you have to deal with. But while it seems that Chunri Creations is attempting to set itself apart from other Indian stores in the GTA in some respects, it still disappoints in customer service. I was, for example, appalled to see a sign near the front of the store about how bargainers should stop and leave the store. I agree, it must be annoying for them to have to deal with Indian people, who are so used to bargaining at other stores. But, could you imagine if that sign was up in a high end, Canadian store? The guy was very reluctant to help me and pretty much left me to answer my own questions. I think they need to stop being so stuck up and start offering better customer service, and that's when the place will truly start feeling like something unique and special in the GTA.
