Dana White receives 2011 Top Choice Award for Businessman of the Year

Toronto/April 28 - The highly anticipated UFC 129 has finally arrived here in Toronto, with a sold out show taking place at the Rogers Centre Saturday, April 30th. Dana White, UFC President said during yesterday's press conference at the Direct Energy Centre on Exhibition grounds, that a whopping 55,000 tickets were sold for the show this Saturday night. The show will also be available on Pay Per View for those unable to attend the event.

During the conference, media from Toronto, all over Canada, USA and from as far as Brazil were given the opportunity to ask questions about the UFC's growing popularity and also got to pose a few questions to each of the fighters including Georges St-Pierre and Jake Shields.

Due to "crazy busy" schedules from both sides ( UFC & TCM ) the award presentation took place at the media conference, and during the media scrum Sandy Caetano, business review specialist for Top Choice Media Group, presented White with the 2011 Top Choice Award for Top Businessman of the Year.

"Wow! Business Man of the year?!! Really? It's a honour to accept this award..it's a real award and it's legitimate. Thank you so much," said White as he received the award.

Silvestre and Monica Couto, President of Top Choice Awards were also on hand to do an official presentation of the award to White and for a photo op.

"I expected a tough, rough type of man, but when I looked in his eyes, I saw sweetness, and one soft human being, what a gentlemen Dana White really is," said Couto. "I guess his entrepreneur side brings his toughness to the cameras, but personally sweet, sweet, sweet! "
